篱尾（Haysend），是雄鹿地南端的一座村庄，柳条河在那里流过老林子汇入白兰地河。[1]它被命名为这个名字，是因为它处于树篱末端。树篱被栽种起来用以保卫雄鹿地人免受老林子内外的生物侵扰。

根据诗歌“邦巴迪尔去划船”，该地的居民比大多数霍比特人性情更为凶狠、保护欲更盛，因为他们村庄的地理位置凶险。[2]

词源

这个名字意为“hay's end”，树篱的末端或树篱的边界。[3]
