奇立斯乌苟（Cirith Ungol），古称奇立斯度阿斯（Cirith Dúath）[1]，是穿越埃斐尔度阿斯的隘口，这是从西方进入魔多仅有的两条通路之一。
奇立斯乌苟被奇立斯乌苟之塔把守着，该塔由刚铎人于最后联盟之战后建造，本是用来监视魔多，盯防索隆。但随后刚铎衰落，索隆东山再起，该塔便被其爪牙占据，成了米那斯魔古尔的前哨。
在魔戒大战期间，弗罗多·巴金斯和山姆怀斯·甘姆吉在咕噜的带领下经由此路前往魔多。咕噜带他们爬上奇立斯乌苟的阶梯，把他们领到了大蜘蛛希洛布的巢穴中。这只凶狠肮脏的蜘蛛在此蹲伏已久。[2]
名字与词源
Cirith Ungol 在辛达语中意为“蜘蛛隘口”。其中 cirith 意为“隘口”；ungol 意为“蜘蛛”[3]，该单词还出现在乌苟立安特（Ungoliant）等地方。
Cirith Dúath 在辛达语中意为“阴影隘口”。其中 dúath 由 dû（“夜晚”）和 gwath（“阴影”）构成，意为“夜影”。
其他版本
在上世纪40年代的《魔戒》手稿中，该地被称为 Kirith Ungol（“蜘蛛山谷”），由米那斯魔古尔而非（奇立斯乌苟之塔）守卫着。它起初是进入魔多的主道或其附近的隘口，位于最终版本的奇立斯戈埚所在之处。[4][5][6]后来它变成了魔古尔山谷以南的一处高隘口[7]，直到最终改为山谷以北[8]。
